However, MiteX does contain free silicates. Ensure that atmospheric dust levels are maintained such that the amount of respirable silicates in the atmosphere is <0.4 mg/M3. Long-term exposure to excessive levels of any mineral dust can lead to respiratory problems.

Disposal Considerations
Disposal must be in accordance with local and national legislation.
Dispose of through an authorised waste contractor to a licensed site.
Provided care is taken to inhibit airborne dust, normal factory disposal procedures may be employed using skips and tips, then landfill. Spillages may be swept up. The use of water is not recommended; surfaces coated with wet material would be a slipping hazard.
