The product:
Mycostat is based on propionic acid, acetic acid and sorbic acid buffered to improve longevity in storage.
Mycostat is blended with an activated mineral carrier to control the volatility of the product and maintain activity in the feed for several months.
Mycostat has been developed as a low corrosive treatment for raw materials or bulk feeds.
Major benefits:
- Mycostat protects against both moulds and yeasts.
- Mycostat has volatile components released at a slow rate giving persistent long term activity.
- Mycostat has a large surface area to ensure the active monomeric forms of the acids are released into the feed.
- Unlike straight propionic acid the composition offers anti-yeast activity.

Dependent on moisture content.

Note:
For Mycostat it is advisable to pre-mix with 3 - 5kg of relevant finish mix.

Mycostat is available in 25kg white foil-lined paper bags.
